**Updated 6/4/2024: I've switched to a Shadow market.
Vara, Decisive Action is probably flexible as I've not grabbed it often. I'm not in masters yet, but I'm two wins away. The deck cruised through gold to D1. D1, as usual, has been win one, lose one.
-----
Is this a masterpiece? Hardly. But it did the job in the climb to masters this month. It went 74-32 for a 69% (yes!) win rate. For most of the run, I had 4x
Hive Queen Uther main deck and
Unlikely Pack in the Market. When I hit Diamond 1, I decided to move Uther to the Market and add 4x
Annihilate. I was facing a lot of Stonescar aggro, and having a bit more removal was helpful.
Master Archivist helped even out the power. With no
Seek Power, it was needed.
Hexamancer and the depleted power make her bigger. This plays the Nightfall angle with
Lunar Magus,
Pincer Ant, and
Insatiable Anteater.
Riftfeeder Wasp does waspy things.
Snoozing Sloth can do a great job pushing damage or forcing opponents to chump.
In addition to Annihilate, we have
Morbid Deal and
Feed the Hecaton. The latter was good for most of the run because, for some reason, not many people were playing
Tight-Lipped. If they are, it's possibly a dead card in your hand. Thus, the inclusion of
Steelwarren Rebel.
Lastly,
Veena's Masterpiece is just a stupid card. It can be just ridiculous. There were more than one game where I was drawing 3 or 4 cards a turn.
So yeah... it's a decent deck. It struggled a bit against Stonescar aggro, but it was a good climb.
Anything you would change?
