Kodosh's Stranger and
Tarra, Ever Loyal have great synergy and they both boost upcoming unit draws. One by itself and the other with the warcry. I have been experimenting with both in Argenport decks but wanted to see if this pair will go well with
Haunting Scream.
It does work very well (13 wins in the last 20 games around Masters TOP 100) but most important it is fun to play.
As for the rest of the cards.
Piercing Grief is really useful, frequently you will pump it up to 5+ or 7+ and even more in sick games (I have reached 15).
Wisdom of the Elders and
Honor of Claws are a necessity, otherwise the deck lacks draw speed.
Jotun Feast-Caller can become a monster in this deck and
Makkar's Stranger does wonders here, either by stealing cards, pairing with
Kodosh's Stranger for extra pumping or running it airbone with
Haunting Scream. In this particular deck you do not want costly units so i choose to run only 2 of each.
Dark Return is a must in this deck for multiple reasons but mainly to double dip on
Kodosh's Stranger, use the destiny of
Piercing Grief or bring back a unit after you used
Haunting Scream on it.
Vara, Vengeance-Seeker is always a good card and needed in case you are facing a lot of aegis units, it does however play against your own
Jotun Feast-Caller
The rest are basically power and removals, feel free to tweak as you wish.
The market is also flexible. The only card that is a must there is the
Burglarize, in some matchups if you do not have the option to remove attachments is game over.
Tome of Horrors is usually my default choice if I need to play my
Wasteland Broker and is not clear what is my opponent playing. It works better than expected.
The
Seek Power is just a placeholder, I am not sure what to use there yet.
I hope you like the deck.
