Information

With a little help from the latest patch, Stonescar is back in force in Gauntlet!

This deck puts the AI under a lot of pressure with newly buffed Argenport Instigator and Champion of Chaos. Blackhall Warleader is another addition to the deck thanks to a recent buff to 3 health, it makes for an excellent blocker and can snowball quickly if unanswered. The inspire adds potency to the whole deck and market, and synergizes well with our Auric Interrogator and Dark Return value engine.

The latest campaign brought us Desecrate which is tremendous help for the deck as cards like Deathstrike were just a little too clunky.

Vara, Vengeance-Seeker and Shadowlands Tyrant combined with our efficient early removal (Torch and Suffocate) along with our 3-health blockers make our aggro match-ups favorable. We also have Vicious Highwayman out of the market to pick off the numerous 1-health AI units.

When testing this deck, I tried both Merchants and critically ended up with Ixtun Merchant to allow access to Cauldron Cookbook. In initial testing the decks that we struggled against were able to grind us out. Cookbook gave us a much needed card advantage engine for when all of our units get answered by removal.

This was amazing, thank you for sharing !

Heya, looks like a fun deck! I was just wondering how useful Vicious Highwayman in the market was. I know the AI plays plenty of X/1 units, but since Manny is just a 1-of and we're not balls-to-the-wall aggro, wouldn't it be better to have Zuberi for even more pressure, or Jawbone Greatsword/Flameblast for removal + reach?

Just wondering. I built your deck as is, can't wait to try it out later on!
FallenChameleon Eternal Version: 1.45.7
Both of those removal options might be worth trying, but I do pull Highwayman fairly often. When Highwayman is good (against aggro) he's really great to have. As an example, I picked off a grenadin and then the AI blocked with six others. For the Highwayman I took out five grenadin and gained four health. Easy game after that.

Zuberi is a card I prefer maindeck, and for that I would go with a different build - try a Shadow market and add Umbren Reaper.

Can I ask a dumb question, but is the Cauldron Cookbook a useful relic? I know there are not many card draw things for fire, but doesn't it put a firebomb in your own deck? Seems kinda damage pricey just to draw a card? (Edit: Meant to say, this looks like an absolute monster of a deck! Nice Build!)
FallenChameleon Eternal Version: 1.45.7
Cookbook is great for the grind matches where card advantage is very helpful. You don't pull it against the aggro decks really so the 5 damage isn't as relevant. Also, with 60+ cards left in the deck it's not that likely to draw a Firebomb and we also can ocasionally scout them to the bottom with Crest of Chaos.
