I was wondering why nobody tried to play around with Hall of Lost Kings, especially after the release of Vara, Vengeance-Seeker and Azindel, Revealed, so I did. it went surprisingly well, til now I won 10 out of 13 games between diamond 3 and 2.
The deck has some weaknesses against decks with a huge output of damage in the early game, like Skycrag aggro or any Haunting Scream deck. But it also has some great matchups. Hall of Lost Kings is an auto win against almost every slower deck without justice, and if they play justice, you just have to play Sabotage or Devastating Setback right before you want to play Hall of Lost Kings to discard their Harsh Rule or End of the Story.
