How come we don't run any copies of Hailstorm? Also have you considered Sunken Tower in the market? It's really good with the recursion units.

Hailstorm isn't good against many decks I see. Sunken Tower takes too long to be better than a Mirror Image or Gleaming Shield.

Ok makes sense. Tried sunken tower anyway seems way too slow right now/all the durdle decks with Azindel/Talir/Mask are too fast for it to come online.

He's solid, but a worse 6 drop than Caiphus in a deck built around recursion and copying. You could play it in some of the Champion of Cunning slots.

Just did a dry run with this deck in Gauntlet, while I was distracted with stuff around the house. Got thru and beat the Gauntlet boss, which was +1/+1 for each battle skill. Mirror Imaging an 11/11 Caiphus on turn 7 was very satisfying.

It feels like a bit of a Nonbo putting Vara in the same deck as Champion of Cunning and Gleaming Shield. Do you find the conflict matters all that often?
