As has been pointed out by a few others, whether because people are having fun with Honor decks because of Vargo or because they're just experimenting with Homecoming in general, baby Vara is a little less on the scene, leaving Aegis strategies a place to come back in.
That being said, you can't be too cautious when Shelterwing Rider is one of your major beatsticks, hence the inclusion of Vanq blade, Enforcer, and two transform effects in the market.
The strategy is relatively simple - go over their heads, then play palace for a berserk air finish or a surprise 9/9 Sheltherwing Rider with its aegis back. And Wisdom of the Elders is great to get some card advantage in the late game.
Honor of Claws and Commando are something of a flex spot - I like what they're doing in terms of life and card advantage and filling out the curve, but I could see moving to more or less of either one, or even cutting some of them for jennev merchants.
Savagery is a great way to get a Vargo out of the way or other units in your way. Also a great way to activate either Feast-Caller or Aniyah on the turn they are played. Just having the overwhelm is very useful for pushing damage and taking down sites with only chump blockers to defend them.
So far this deck has brought me a winning streak and I hope it does the same for you. Have fun!
