How do you feel about mask in this deck? What would you sub out? I'm getting the hang of the deck, and it's a nice alternative to the talir combo, since it's nerfed...

Mask is another deck. And with the Talir (destiny) nerf, I wouldnt play this deck.
Maybe Ill try a Mask build, but I would build that from the ground, not from the remains of this deck.

The deck takes practise to play corectly, and often times in ladder there is the time issue when you combo off. If i see that an Azindel will be "effective enough" I just go for that instead. If you do combo, just get a decent board, get some devour/last chance in hand and turn the combo off

Really cool deck! Question though, how do you pull it off with little removal? I'm liking the concept a lot, but I think I may be missing something?

block, chump, stall, build a board. Sometimes they overwhelm you, but the units are usually large enough. I havent felt ive needed removal most of the time. Also, playing removal in a deck like this is just ruining the deck.

This is a cool take on a xenan midrange and is thankfully considerably cheaper than full Talir combo. How often do you successfully get Talir combo online? It also looks like there is no killer in the void, so can talir combo win? Otherwise looks like a sweet deck.

There is no way to combo and win the same turn. The deck credit goes to Camat0. We tested together for the invitationals.
You combo a surpringly large number of times, but on ladder I found that its more practical to just azindel and win, since roping is a serious thing there. If you arent fast enough with the mechanics, you end up letting the AI making decisions for you.
