What do you think of replacing the two unseals and sunken towers with Sandstorm? I'm thinking that fliers are your weak spot and more big dudes never hurt. He doesn't have overwhelm but he's pretty good as is.

You could try fitting titans in there, but Im not sure what I would remove. Unseal is great because you are very weak to harsh rule if you have no dawnwalkers, and sunken tower wins a lot of games, I think this is a deck where sunken tower shines

Those are good points. Does unseal work after the fact? For example, your behemoth gets permafrosted. Can you unseal him on a later turn?

No, unseal works as a counterspell but also for curses, so if the opponent permafrosted something, you would have to have unseal and 2 power open to counter it

I just noticed something important: your deck needs consistency and card draw. It's too prone to being stuck on 3 power without ramp or card draw to get power. I'm thinking of adding Scribe, Friendly Wisp, and Initiate to help bring the big guys out sooner.

I have questions about the rod though. With ramping from the horn and behemoth, is it really even necessary? Seems like a win-more card to me. Honestly I'd consider tossing in more initiations or other sources for killer since that ability has such a good place in this list.

Fair, this is pretty much my first run and thinking about it there is only 20 overwhelm units which is nowhere near enough for a good rod. im replacing it with unseal
