I've been playing with
Valley Whisperer a lot lately trying to find some absurd things to do with it and I believe I've found ...something.
When she was spoiled we all knew that Valley Whisperer had potential to do some big things, and that is to make your already under cost - over stat units have even more value by giving them the unleash tag. We have cards like
Sandstorm Titan,
Hexavore and
Auric Record Keeper that have unleash "naturally" when Whisper is on board. But what about the other cards? We have to do a little bit of work to get them to where we can just slam the board with crazy amounts of value.
Pull From Duty,
Genetrix Irel, Wayward,
Speed Grafter and
Alchemy Student aid in getting our <4 attack units into unleash range.
Genetririx Irel, Wayward + Unleash is a powerful interaction.
Valkyrie Enforcer for instance will get the buff from her 1st if you've played a power, which in turn gives Enforcer unleash. Once your turn is finished, as long as Genetrix remains on board you don't have to discard your extra copies. Neat!
Pull From Duty is just a very solid card here. I don't think I need to go into how good it is, it facilitates Unleash and can make combat awkward for your opponent. That's usually enough.
My personal favorite and IMO most busted play is
Valley Whisperer +
Alhed Ascending. With 6 or more time influence this line can take over a game by swarming the board with 5/5's or better.
