Ran into Borderlands Lookout in a similar sort of shell and realised I wanted to get back on the old Elysian Tempo deck. I've played the list before to moderate success, but with some new tech it feels significantly better. New cards for the deck since I last played it are are
Borderlands Lookout - This card is what brought me back to the deck, almost always a 2/3 for 1, it puts a lot of pressure on early.
Royal Decree - This card has been in these lists a while, but the first time for me, it's perfect disruption as well as information on the opponents hand.
Sodi's Spellshaper - More
Equivocates! Really helps keep tempo-ing the opponent, and the card draw helps keep us fuelled, playing very nicely with Beserk from Dusk Raider
Saber-Tooth Prideleader - This was my inclusion over
Lunar Magus, who still might come into the deck at some point. But the Prideleader having ambush has been a blowout for opponents on multiple occasions. Whilst not gaining as much life that Magus might, in this build there is less nightfall to trigger, and coming in on the opponents turn with ambush essentially gives it charge, like a lot of our units.
Also for power there is now
Elysian Insignia and
Emblem of Grodov
The Insignia is great for the deck, but I am very impressed with the Emblem, keeping up the pressure into the later game, and also sometimes getting Beserk from Dusk Raider to pass on with exalted.
Overall I am very happy with the deck, there are probably still some tweaks to go, I think
Cobalt Monument will probably be cut for
Emblem of Linrei potentially, for more undepleted power and a cheaper body, despite the worse stats.
