Well, I am a giant fan of transform-decks, so here is my take on an Expedition Deck that plans on destroying the gameplan of your opponent via Transform! But, mostly because the expedition format misses Equivocate, it is a bit more centered around transforming your own units than the thron-edition. Or at least it supports doing that.
Some choices might be a bit weird. Especially
Yeti Furflinger. But it can serve either as a semi-removal (a 2/2 flyer is still good) or, with
Vargo's Pelt, it can make a real threat.
Ubsat the Savior is just too good not to play him, especially since Expedition misses the vast amount of transform throne has. So, ye, this deck is gonna be ubsatting some people.
Flight of Makkar in the market is just a hardcore finisher with Vargo's Pelt. It may seem bad in a vacuum, but imagine your Ravens are 5/5 while your opponents ravens are 1/1.
Vernal Mandrake is just an idea. Gonna see how often I broker for it.
Cirso, the Great Glutton is fun with
Mind Link or any card caring about transform. It grows
Yorja, The Tale Keeper and
Wildgrowth Druid and it revives
Feral Mandrake. With the last interaction, you can even save your Cirso by imbueing him into the Mandrake!
The only problem I kind of expect to run into is the powerbase. This deck wants TTT at 2, TTTTT at 4 and PPP at 3. It also wants PPPP as fast as possible, and the same goes for TTTTTT. Maybe I'll need some fixing. Best in form of plunder, because, you know, it TRANSFORMS the cards!
