A deck that came as an attempt to give
Grinva, Judge of Battles and some other unused cards a bit of purpose in life. After play-testing it through a bunch of gauntlet runs and casual games, it can pull off some surprising wins due to a lot of lifesteal and removal. It is a bunch of fun to play, especially once Grinva drops and your opponent has to do some mental gymnastics to avoid killing your own units. Had some priceless moments...
The big combo is ofc dropping
Grinva, Judge of Battles and smashing your units into your opponent's wall of units, killing something with
Devour or blasting the entire board with
Harsh Rule, resulting in a big hit from Grinva.
Unfinished Business turned out to be a great addition to the deck. First of all, it can be a great finisher on any of the fliers in the deck since nobody expects a sudden +5/+5. It combos great with Grinva's ability, but the real strength of this card comes in combination with revenge units, especially
Piercing Grief. +5/+5 sticks permanently so you have a 8/6 destiny, charge, lifesteal bulldozer in your top 10 cards. In addition with
Dark Return, the buffed unit is an amazing finisher sitting in your graveyard, perfect to drop after a
Harsh Rule.
I feel
Unfinished Business could be a card JPS Scream decks could want, something I will most definitely be trying out soon. On a sidenote, it is impossible to use
Devour on a card that just got buffed with
Unfinished Business.
Inquisitor Makto,
Vara, Vengeance-Seeker and
Valkyrie Enforcer are there to help stabilize mid-game and give some board presence.
Vara's Choice is a card that could be dropped first from the deck for some additional removal or units although it works great for removing face aegis so Grinva can go to work. One of the unused cards that also works with this deck is
Swear Vengeance. Revenge on Vara or any of the +5/+5 buffed units is no laughing matter...
