Mono-T deck with some ways to bounce back against the ever-present mulit-wrath decks out there. most of the units will withstand
Hailstorm and then you have a couple
Excavates,
Ephemeral Wisp, and
Dawnwalkers to have some recursion after the inevitable
Harsh Rules.
Amaran Stinger and
Venom Rider both have charge, so that helps against sorcery-speed wrath/removal.
Otherwise, some pretty strong bodies to be able to early block on aggro and chomp through midrange. I think it could be good. i dont have all the necessary legendaries (missing 1
Worldbearer Behemoths) and i'm short a couple rares (1
Amaran Stingers and 1
Lunar Magus) but i will put it together with what i have and sub in some of the stuff i have listed in the Sideboard (or as i refer to it: the "maybe" column) until i get it all together, then try it out.
EDIT (08-21-18): got 2 Behemoths and a Stinger so put them in. down to only needing 1 leg and 2 rares. rocking 1-of
Alhed, Mount Breaker because i pulled him in a draft and it's a place-holder til i get the other cards in here. gonna see how well it does for the moment and may use later on. really digging the deck. also added in
Amber Waystone because it doesnt hurt at all. still comes in un-depleted regardless and can gain a couple health to keep me going. whatever. also, i cut down the
Ephemeral Wisps because they were slightly underperforming. decided to put in a pair of
Seek Power to try to keep myself on curve. Was having some difficulty keeping lands in hand. hopefully that'll help. may end up putting in the other 2 in the process of getting the final version. having zero one-drops kind of allows Seek Power to be a viable option for turn one. usually i just play the tap-lands to get them out of the way on T1. Might end up cutting down on the Lunar Magus's to do that. idk. still toying with it.
Overall impressed with:
Amaran Stinger! dudes a huge help! bounces back from wraths and really hurts some of the other aggro/aggressive midrange decks. getting those little bugs from the top of their deck is surprisingly useful. especially with
Xenan Initiation and/or
Xenan Obelisk. I like it!
Still considering:
Twilight Hunt and
Initiate of the Sands. Twilight Hunt could be good considering there are at least a few dinos in the deck but not
that many. not sure if it's worth the shard investment as of yet. Also, if i decide for this killer-enabler, i would probably want to keep in 4-of
Lunar Magus. Initiate could be my one-drop to push me to some very aggressive starts, but the whole point of me making this deck was to
not get blown out by hailstorm, so he misses the mark on that one, unless i use him to ramp into a sandstorm titan or xenan obelisk or something big before they can get the chance to drop in the sweeper. Probably wont use the initiate, but... maybe...
Suggestions welcome.
