Call for Aid or Severin gets you a relic, then Sahin turns that into a Pit. Can also get the eternity core from the market to create a pit. Draw cards to find the combo. Privilege of Rank gives you sigils for Pit or fodder for merchants, similar to its role in Isomorphic's reanimator.

Not sure about Azindel in the market, temple scribes, or the lone observer. I think the permafrosts may be necessary to buy time against aggro, but these might also want to be something else. Caveat emptor.
