Information

Curtain Call is really good in gauntlet. Send an Agent is the new hotness.

The powerbase is almost as stable as mono time. Sometimes you'll miss turn 2 because of depleted power, but that's about the extent of it. Twinned Spiteling can be played on curve 80% of the time, and Curtain Call is always playable by the time you need it.

Oh... Grodov's Burden into unblockable Spiteling... Must try that!

Intrigued by this list...I'm excited to give it a go. Ill post when I test it.

Smooth 7-0, Loved having the treasure trove for market fodder, loved twin (it seemed like it often bated two premium removal spells when dropped as first threat.) Send an agent and Curtain call seemed mostly irrelevant, I'm not sure they're both 4 ofs. I did have one good SAA on last boss (+1/1 battle skills and dealing with the 2/3 flying ls guy quickly was sweet), but this card is almost identical to annihilate in gauntlet (very few neutral minions and almost 0 sites). Curtain call was always overkill, I can see scenarios where it would be good though. I like the core of this idea though, I might experiment with Varas and two ofs of the aforementioned.

Thoughts?

I'm pretty confident in SAA at 3-4 copies. It's mostly an Annihilate that occasionally hits Obelisk or Flamestoker. Annihilate hits a lot of big threats. It's not sexy, but gets the job done. Worth noting the second mode is relics, not sites, and at first I often overlooked it when killing Obelisk would have been a blowout.

Curtain Call is mostly a great way to turn a contested board into a blowout. Even if you don't have a good board for it, it's a fine combat trick and much-needed life gain. I have it at 3 copies here since I rarely need more than one, but the first copy pretty much always gets value. It's especially good for getting out of burn range when we stabilize at low health.

I could see 4-drop Vara being a good option too. Let me know how it goes.

I really like it with 4-drop Vara, she might be one of the best Gauntlet cards in the game and she slots really nicely into this deck with Gordov's...I'm not 100% that the swaps that I said are right, because the utility of CAA and CC is becoming really nice, but I would recommend trying to slot in 2-4 Vara's where you can, she's really against the rush.

I'm currently running 4 SAA 2 CC and 2 Tocas. He's always seemed a little clunky and he's an AI removal magnet and the curve is quite a bit lower...I'm not sure if its right now or not, but Vara is soo good. Especially since we're running hard removal now and so many decks are loaded with aegis. Add me if you get a chance and we'll keep sharing notes. Tehlb+7458

42-0 with this list...Very few close games...rarely made a tough decision
