BURN revisited (Description)

About 10 months ago a tried building a stone-scar burn deck inspired by Modern/Legacy Rakdos burn. There I talked about some issues and difficulties that prevent pure burn decks to be viable in eternal. Most players should be happy about the lack of proper support for burn. It's a linear frustrating degenerate deck for degenerate players. But there is some good news for degenerates like me:

Now with introduction of some new sets (Especially Echos of eternity) new tools have made the deck more viable. However, the two main issues with burn in Eternal as apposed to MTG are still there:
1- Small variety among Burn spells and thus decreased robustness in comparison to MTG (which is expected because of the Gigantic card pool of MTG compared to Eternal. This part has been getting better and better with the introduction of each set)
2- Card draw is still awful. (And this appears to be the intention of the design team, for some reason)
Card draw is bad. It's terrible man. It's demoralizing. F...ing Hell card draw is bad in this game. I mean just take a look at "Light up the stage" from MTG: It's practically draw 2 cards for 1 mana. Now THAT's burn support.

Nightfall mechanic is the most efficient card draw effect in eternal. Devour is also a fair card (I guess they forgot to make it 3 power, thank god) I couldn't find any other card draw effect that is remotely efficient for this deck. That's sad.


This deck is the closest I could get to pure burn while maintaining Viability. I'm not confident that this deck can perform well on ladder. It's a fun and refreshing experience in gauntlet though. The core idea is the same as the previous one, just some cards have been replaced by better ones.

New stars:
Condemn: God I love this card! This deck doesn't want to waste power on a body. You're not expecting the 3 cost merchant to do anything for you. This does the same job for 1/3 of the cost. That's crazy good. The 1 cost restriction isn't that big of an issue since there are so many good 1-cost cards in red and purple.
Sear: I'm so happy this card exists now. a very fair burn spell that you're almost always happy while using. Good stuff.
Feartracker: The new top end alongside Obliterate. Swinging for a total of 12 life is no joke. I also has a beefy body which is irrelevant because it's the only creature worth killing in this deck and your opponent will definitely have an answer waiting in their hand. I would be happier is this card was a 1/2 for 4 mana. But this is fine as is.
