Shimmerpack is back.
Talir's Favored and
Amber Acolyte begone from my sight. We live in a world where value must extracted from every card in our decks and in the case of the more traditional includes in this type of deck, they have been found wanting. I am also someone that thinks people are building their decks too greedily with no consideration for the power curve of their spells. 4
Scouting Party are too many, friends. This is not a Yeti Theme deck after all and having an opening hand that can risk starting with 5, 6 and 7 drops is not how you win games. Also consider: you don't actually need to make a board full of Dinos with Shimmerpack (and can't because they are actually Illusions) as long as you can control the threats on the opponent's side. After all, once we play a
Xenan Obelisk our guys are going to be better than our opponent's guys anyway, so we don't need that many to finish the job. Getting an obelisk down to make our
Reliquary Raider and
Nocturnal Observer dodge
Hailstorm while also not becoming able to be
Vanquish'd and making them acceptable attackers on their own is a great early option until we get up to the Shimmer power requirements.
Not Intended as a Meta Crusher just an updated take on an old deck.
