Rakano Valks

Hello! I'm happy to see a different take on a rakano valks deck, but I have a question about it too. The lack of harsh rule in favor or more equipment in the market, as well as just generally having more equipment in the deck seems like the deck is made specifically as an answer to combrei aggro. Whats's the reasoning behind putting plates in the main deck and ixtun merchant? I haven't played it too much, but it feels like it plays a little more inconsistently than the green variants due to the stabilizing nature of having vanquish, harsh rule, privilege of rank, or rolant's intervention in the market.
