Information

Do you enjoy pulling of gross combos? How about playing with decks so dirty that no amount of hand washing will ever feel like enough after handling them? If you answered yes to these questions then you, my friend, have come to the right place!

DISCLAIMER: This is meant to be a guantlet deck. It's not very likely to keep up with perfectly streamlined decks on the ladder. And while these combos are perfect for a naive AI.... that won't always be the case against a vigilant human opponent. Also, while I've been consistent with this deck in gauntlet.... its not going to be a quick win, speed run kind of deck. It does do very well overall (even against bosses) but more than anything its meant to be fun to play as you win.

So lets dive in to it now kids! This deck has several really fun combos to it that are not that hard to pull off and can have huge effects in your games. Also, don't be afraid to take the time to set up your combos. This deck has a lot of life gain to help keep you healthy and in the fight while you pull everything together that you need to completely wreak your opponent's day.

The combos are set around a couple main cards....

COMBO PEICE #1 - Lifedrinker

So to the common eye this weapon looks to be like your typical run of the mill trash weapon. And to be honest... it is your typical run of the mill trash weapon. But it does have something fun about it. For one magical turn after you equip it, you gain lifesteal. And for those of you who are not aware yet, when your avatar has lifesteal then all of your spells do as well. So....

+Lightning Storm: For 5 power you do two damage to each unit on the board and gain that much back in life.

+Hailstorm: For 6 power you can do three damage to each unit on the board with all of that damage being added to your life total.

Get one of these combos off and happy birthday to you! This is insane life gain as you clean up the board. And you have a 2/2 weapon to help knock down anything that's still left standing after all of the fire works are finished. Obviously don't be afraid to use your board wipes without Life Drinker but if you see an opportunity then it may me correct to wait for a turn or more to set it up and gain tons of value.

COMBO PEICE #2 - Kyrex Coach Driver

A card that gives your units deadly as you draw them? I think that I'm in love. Still not sold on her? Look at its type.... gunslinger dinosaur...... What a beautiful game we play! But lets look at some fun synergies since that's what we're here for.

+Shadowlands Tyrant: Another fun card. But give this guy deadly and every time you swing you kill an enemy of your choice while gaining life in the process. He can get out of control incredibly fast if not taken out quick enough.

+Black-Sky Harbinger: Ping everything opposing you for one damage upon entry? That's nice. Give him deadly? You've got yourself a one sided wrath. Plus *erhm*.... more life gain. One of the best options for pulling out of your marked in most cases if you have your Coach Driver in play. Or draw a Harbinger from your graveyard using Last Chance if you like.

Usually these are your staples for winning your matches and they certainly can pull a lot of weight if you get the combo off. Even with out the combo, these cards can all be great though. Do what you need to in order to win ;)

COMBO PEICE #3 - The Last Word

My word.... Have mercy on us all!!! This is not all that common to pull out but if you need it for the late game then its there. A weapon with deadly. This can be used in the same way as Lifedrinker. Vara's Favor? Kills a unit. End of the Line? Kills up to two units. Lightning Storms? Hailstorms? Level the entire field. It kills any unit that you manually swing at. And if ultimated, it kills your opponent in one touch. Don't go out of your way to pull this thing out of your market though even if it does whisper promises of true happiness and enjoyment.

OTHER KEY PEICES

Vara, Vengeance-Seeker: Its Vara. Do I need to say anything more? More life gain because why not. Potential deadly. Decent body. But killing aegis and leaving all of our opponents completely naked on the board for all of our combo effects? Priceless.

The Removal Package: There is plenty of removal for all stages of the game. Use it! This stuff will buy you time to set up and clear the way for your units once you drop them. This plus deadly on your Merchant's (and Vara?) and what what ever else Kyrex blesses.... your opponent shouldn't be able to progress far. Permafrost is a perfect play too. Its cheap and it keeps the unit on the board to gain that life off your Lifedrinker combos and Black-Sky Harbinger attacks.

Have fun my friends! Let me know if you enjoy the deck and if there are any changes you are making to spice it up at all!
