save Grenarender to deal with attachments in specific matchups like Means to an End, Obelisk, Permafrost, Black Iron Manacles, Eye of Winter, relic weapons, Visage, Treasury Gate and so on.... or just play him to sacrifice him in matchups where that isnt important for the sweet sweet burst of power.

Tripwire Grenadin can be used to great effect to raise the reach of your other cards against non-contemporary cards. for instance, teacher of humility can trade with an X/5 if you let her get eaten then play tripwire and immediately sacrifice him - at no tempo cost, as youl get 2 power which is what he cost.

Gunsmith can be used to infiltrate Teachers of Humility, this is specialy spicy if you do it post Great Kiln as Kiln will then proceed to deal 2 damage to something for casting Weights. Or, yknow, pay 5 deal 12 to face. That works too i guess. You can play more Alheds or Jekk Hunted Fugitive if you arent into the spice.

Alhed lets you recast Auralian Merchants and makes Izalios into absolutely unopposable attackers. Style points for sending gunsmith to the top, playing a power with Ascendant in play and recasting her.

Ascendants are essential as the deck often plays them on turn 4 into power thanks to our lord and savior Combustion Cell. It is the card that allows us to ignore Cell being "tecnical card disadvantage" since it neither kills things nor represents a body.

Kiln is yet more payoff for playing grenadins and ramp, and enables all sorts of synergy with market, teacher, gunsmith and the relics in the maindeck due to having lots of good, good text.

Market:

banner because heart influence is a pain sometimes.

scarf because many gauntlet decks fold to scarf.

hourglass because some gauntlet decks fold to hourglass.

Obelisk is a proactive powerplay in a go wide deck, makes your fatties able to zone enemy fatties and assure maximum durdle.

ascendant because having 7 draws for the first ascendant is pretty good to get the value train started as early as possible. used to be moondial, but really ascendant is just outright better. (moondial wasnt bad tho, if you dont own a full set of ascendants go for it and place it either here in the market or in maindeck)
