What do you get when you combine a blast from the past with TCP because OPOP?
This absolutely deliciously janky take on TCP, combining it with an oldie but goodie plan B--ramp with pledge matters!
Just like Praxis Patrice before, the goal of this deck is to take a conventional archetype, and put an absolutely silly, but still competitive spin on it in ways that people think shouldn't work, but somehow still does, in goofy and silly ways.
Most of the decklist should be pretty self-explanatory--ramp up, smack with midrange beatsticks, or play the tokens/value game with your relics. But the one weird card is
Disjunction in the market because, well, guess what? It can also fetch a Project that was discarded via exploit/Ziat, hunted away, or somehow killed because of course you'll run into cats and such.
Just remember, the pledge isn't *as* vital as in a pledge matters deck, since your only payoff is glasshopper, rather than hopper and gunrunner.
So yeah. Enjoy clowning on people with yet another goofball deck =P
1. I would argue Pledge is VERY important in this deck, beyond Grasshopper. Turn 1 Time pledge lets you get a Logistics Expert or Initiate of the Sands out, which in turn gets you a way-overpowered Auralian Supplier on Turn 2.
2. If you are like me and don't want to craft a whole bunch of Legendaries at once, Silverwing Courier is a pretty hilarious card in this deck to replace some of either Darya or Naoki. Also another Pledge payoff.
