Running 7 Merchants that are able to grab Crown but then not having Crown in the market is the big thing that stands out to me.

If you move 1 Crown to the market, you are functionally running 10 copies of Crown - at least for the first one played, which is the bare minimum you want out for a Crown deck to function well.
