Pretty much Hooru midrange, but law enforcement tribal. Cards of note:
Sheriff Marley is the one card here I haven't seen in another Hooru mid build. She is very difficult to remove and thus helps apply pressure and set up Palace turns. I don't know for sure if she's better than
Poaching Drake because she can get trapped on the ground, but she feels very strong so far. Her extra ability can draw you a sticky target for buffs or market fodder.
Aniyah, Arctic Sheriff has popped up in Hooru mid lists before, particularly a few recently. She has fantastic renown synergy with both Palace and combat tricks to go along with a very useful summon. The stun effect often becomes as good as removal if you manage to get an aegis on Aniyah (and she has enough strength to get an aegis from Palace when it is in play).
Permafrost is here in place of the
Defiance most are running in this archetype. Defiance is obviously very strong but not a perfect fit in this deck because you generally want to be quite aggressive and it can't do anything about blockers. Permafrost also critically stops onslaught, unlike Defiance. Its greater power later in the game makes it easier for the deck to go down to 3
Vanquish, which I have done here so I can maximize the chances of curving out with units appropriately, since
Pristine Light is a fallback anyway.
Eilyn, Clan Mother is just downright nasty with aegis, so try to bring her out after Palace to finish off the game.
