Crafted four
Gentle Grazer and wanted to try it out. The deck turned out to be quite fun and reliable.
As in all even decks, you aim to win throuh card advantage and board presence.
Xenan Obelisk being the main win con. Because elysian has so much transformation, I added
Yorja, The Tale Keeper (I had never played with her, and wanted to test her). She's more fun than competitive, bit still. Because of her I run 4
Regression. I have not yet regretted it.
As for some of the questionable card choices:
Varret, Hero-in-Training is a card that
Gentle Grazer can hit, has a solid statline, and can transform (therefore synergizing with
Yorja, The Tale Keeper).
Insistent Automaton has that summon ability that allows you to reuse summon abilities. There are enough in the deck that I feel the not-so-great body is justified. Also good against decks that run permafrost
Poaching Drake is a soft removal that makes
Yorja, The Tale Keeper grow, and provides some reach.
Tamarys, Earthshaker can be played on turn 3, kinda fixing your curve. Great against go wide decks and the double damage boss. Also great for pinging aegis.
Nahid's Distillation is the flex spot. I used to have
Gnash, Desert Prince but the anti synergy was too great. I'll keep testing this card though, as I am not unhappy with it.
Try it out and tell me how it goes!
