Amusingly the loss wasn't against a boss, it was a brick against the first gauntlet opponent of the 9th run
So far this is the most consistent gauntlet deck I've played recently, most cards are serviceable early game and let you ramp to your late game win cons, so it can win even when drawing only 1-2 power.
With
Reliable Troops and
Savior of the Meek you have basically 8 1-drops agains double damage boss, which unsurprisingly is the hardest one, Reliable can draw power so its decent in other matchups and Savior is insane in almost all matchups, not only it gives you a free body with lifesteal(Which the AI will probably waste removal on) and then you can user her for market/discard fodder, but you can very often ramp into her and use her as a wincon.
Just Desserts IMO best justice removal, as long as you know how the AI will block/attack and use that to your advantage.
Sites are great in gauntlet, not only they are insane against weapon-based decks, but the AI tends to either over or under-prioritize attacking them, I'm playing
Lord Steyer's Tower over
The Speaking Circle because of curve reasons, as most of the early ramp takes you 3->5 and you have tons of other cards to play on 6, the Valkyrie-Warp almost never happens but it's a nice highroll when it does.
Icaria, Valkyrie Captain is the only card I'm sketchy about, it can be great when you play her on 2 and she survives, but she is bad tempo when played on 2, and often she dies for free to stuff like
Vara's Favor /
Sword of Icaria
Reclaim on market for ramp is an option, but it doesn't feel very consistent in this deck(As it doesn't have that many 1/2-drops and the merchant is understatted so it can be killed easily), and it is usually better to ramp with other 3-drops and then use the merchant to grab the wincon.
