When I first started playing eternal I was drawn to the original Felnscar Control decks. Unfortunately those decks fell by the wayside after the nerf to Champion of Chaos, and as the meta sped up. However now with the addition of a few new cards In Cold Blood, Cauldron Cookbook, and Vara, Vengeance-Seeker the deck seems to have a solid core. I have played roughly 50 games with this exact list (and probably more than 100 while tweaking the numbers and trying out various market options), and the deck has preformed extremely well. One thing I will say is that if you are running into a lot of praxis tokens and skycraggro I would replace the Sabotage and a Rindra's Choice with x3 Hailstorm. I don't think that it is necessary against the various Scream decks running around currently Statuary Maiden and Feeding Time are typically more than enough to deal with them.

Almost Eternal Version: 1.40
If you go with shadow merchant, I'd probably put a dark return in the market instead of the Azindel's Gift. However I think that Ixtun merchant is likely better because it gives you cookbook and bore. Rindra's Choice is efficient fast removal and there are a lot of multifaction units running around. I recommend cutting some of the 4-cost removal to get ~ 3 Rindra's Choice.

I tried out the red merchant, but ended up deciding to run shadow so i could run Black-Sky in the market as a threat to grab. I will have to try out the rindra's choice's though. thanks for the feed back!
