DISCLAIMER: This is a meme deck and, it's completely ridiculous. You probably shouldn't play it and you
definitely shouldn't craft it.
I asked myself, "What cards should I play in Big Combrei in 2021?" A less interesting person than me would probably have responded, "None, because you shouldn't play Big Combrei in 2021." Instead, I chose to go with all of them. This basically just contains all of the greatest hits from the archetype and, strangely, is a totally functional deck. Running 150 cards means a) you're less likely to run out of power to play for free with the various effects that trigger that, b) you are more resilient to mill, c) you are more resilient to
Turn to Seed and other similar effects, and d) you don't have to be decisive at all. It also costs you less than it might in other decks because Big Combrei has a lot of redundancy throughout the entire curve. Yes,
Telut, Queen's Hand is almost always a better finisher than
Ravid, Insect Master, but they both fuel the same power-driven engine at the end of the day. In my experience, this deck plays worse because it's Big Combrei in 2021 than because of the extra cards.
Get out there and flex them stacks of Shiftstone.
I should probably just run it anyway though!
