This deck attempts to abuse cards that trigger when a 5 Cost Spell is played. A very fun deck to play with in a Casual Environment due to synergies of the deck.
Key Card Points:
Gleeful Firebrand: Damage it churns out from 5 Cost Spells is underrated. Very potent when
Touch of Battle is played on it, effectively killing any unit it damages.
Sandblast Mage: With just 2x 5 Cost Spells in the Void, it becomes a 7/6.
Endra, Championof Shavka: Could be
Milos, Rebel Bomber or
Jekk, Mercenary Hunter instead. Personally, I like Endra because it also serves as a small body point removal with a body.
Crack the Earth: Likely cards to grab from the Market would be
Vital Arcana or
Confiscate.
Touch of Battle: The weakest card to draw, yet unreasonably strong when things fall into place.
Obliterate: Part of the Burn Suite (
Torch,
Sear,
Purify) that triggers
Gleeful Firebrand and powers up
Sandblast Mage. When casting to remove a unit with
Gleeful Firebrand, since it triggers, make sure you calculate which deals the most damage to the opponent by either targeting
Obliterate directly, or targetting the unit instead.
Seed of Creation: 2 card draw gas. Power Card drawn could be Plundered too.
Thunder of Wings: The last 5 Cost Spell in the maindeck. If you cast
Thunder of Wings for 2 less, it still remains as a 5 Cost spell in the Void, thus able to still power up
Sandblast Mage.
- The Power Suite of this deck could be improved. It was determined as such just because these are the cards I have.
- Not happy with
Silent Hysteria,
Striking Snake Formation and, to a certain extent,
Flash Fire in the Market. I recommend to explore with other cards besides these.
