This is my attempt at a Skycrag midrange list, basically the deck was originally designed to take advantage of the two
Sunken Tower's I pulled to out value people with large beaters, but it was much too slow and clunky to win reliably so I lowered the curve to contest the board more.
This deck tends to match up reasonably well against everything that isn't hyper-aggressive or combo based, so it isn't going to beat any re-animator lists and if your draw is even slightly sub par, something like royal burn will melt you because skycrag has no access to healing. It tends to match up well against decks that rely on
Harsh Rule to stabilise because
Daring Pioneer and
Kaleb's Choice tend to prevent that and the threat density of the deck is very high. I will also say that the powerbase makes the deck a tad Inconsistent, so feel free to change it up, however, skycrag is not really equipped to out-grind things, so the list has to be fast enough to go under something like Feln Control, thus the powerbase is such to help prevent durdling and
Cinder Yeti helps you push through large blockers while filtering towards power. The deck is also incredibly weak to the 'Scarfy Boi' (
Sandstorm Titan) so
Polymorph is required as an answer because it also prevents
Dark Return and kills
Tavrod, Auric Broker which
Obliterate cannot. Also the deck doesn't have room for another 5 drop without diluting it's draws.
The namesake of the deck
Sky Terror allows you to push through large blockers such as
Worldbearer Behemoth and
Lumen Defender and coupled with
Jekk, Hunted Fugitive ends games. Plus it's a 6/5 flying unit with warcry for 6 which isn't bad anyway
The sideboard is probably bad because I have no tournament experience (yet), but I basically added some cards that allow you to raise the curve and some answers for cards that the deck can't deal with otherwise (
Crystalline Chalice).
Sunken Tower allows the deck to go over the top of things by generating even more threats and can be combined with
Champion of Fury for some extra burst damage, but the card is probably sub-optimal.
y0ttabyte can be seen playing the deck

Feedback is always welcome, I hope you enjoy the deck.
