The main synergy in this deck is putting Kaleb's Persuader on either Varret, Hero-in-Training or Teething Whelp to instantly activate mastery.

Flame Blast, Torch and Thunder of Wings also provide a substantial amount of reach.

Magebreaker can take out key enemy spells, although I have learned that no matter what spell I target, they always have a copy of it in hand

I have found that this deck gets stuck on power more than it runs into Sandstorm Titan or relics that actually disrupt it that much, but back when Sandstorm Titan was all over the meta an earlier version of this deck did run Slag
