Málaga Amphitheatre = infinite damage, however it is very click intensive.
It is possible, albeit rare, to win on turn 4 with this combo.
Autotread on board,
Málaga Amphitheatre on board, and another red creature, use either
Mindfire or
Daring Maneuver, go to market with
Fire Etchings 3 power left, ping your opponents face 2 power left, now you have 4 power, play
Warhorn, attack, now you have 2 power and an Oni Grunt in hand.
Now you are infinite by pitching the Oni Grunt doing one damage and getting power back, and another Oni Grunt to pitch.
The rest of the cards are just there to fill out the curve. I'm still not sure about
Deheen Blitz, sure it is a 5 attack charging flier, that can potentially get you a
Warhorn but it still costs 5.
Only 3 Jekk as the penalty for not being mono fire is that we have less sigils.
Could potentially add
Touch of Battle, as that +
Autotread or
Jekk, Mercenary Hunter is ridiculous, although that's more likely a market card, and you'd probably need to change to the
East Annex Smuggler if you do.
As for the most important part of a Gauntlet deck, what is your strategy for each boss.
Frequent:
Burn scars: lots of quickdraw and pings should help
Sibling rivalry: get to 5 influence quick, save 2 burn spells to kill their boss unit, the one
Kaleb's Persuader is there to be fetched if you manage to attack.
Others:
Spells: best way to beat it is having a site, which gets you 3 spells with 1 card
Random battle skill: Not much to say, you can't beat a destiny
Thunderstrike Dragon on turn 1
5 faction: get the burn spell from the market
charge: this deck works reaaaaally well with charge
double damage: ditto, especially with the overwhelm and quickdraw units
lands: be as aggro as possible
units cost 1 less: dump your hand, hope you get
D'Angolo Houndmaster active as soon as possible
