So, I've been trying this deck out and there's one thing that's confusing me. Why the vow? It doesn't get you anything and just makes you spend one life and discard a sigil for the same exact thing as just playing a sigil.

Alright, so if you've ever played MTG there is something called fetch lands which also makes you pay 1 life, (except on here they make you discard a sigil out of your deck) so you get cards you want more often. Prevents getting flooded with power cards and just makes your deck way more consistent. The calebs favor does the same, as well with the etchings
