For my first deck on Warcry, an update to the "play a big thing with
Summoner Savant" strategy. Mainly, the change is to have a way to play things besides Savant. In order to pull that off, we make all of our huge payoffs in the main deck Sentinels, and toss in
Stirring Sand. With
Ascetic Lantern joining the team from Behemoths of Thera, we have yet another fantastic way to discard dead 8 drops while speeding through our deck for combo pieces, as well as a small charging body that benefits from
Wandering Hamlet. Our main interactions with our opponent besides running them over with huge units come from the damage effects of
Sling of the Chi and
Blitz Stone, which also trigger
Great-Kiln Titan's damage effect. Be sure to play a payoff toolbox of big units in the market that suits your gameplay style, I like the ones I have here for most situations.
Useful Tips:
Both
Plunk Wumpkin and
Ascetic Lantern are Explorers, and can thus be used for the amplify with
Stirring Sand.
Great Valley Smuggler can trigger Sling if
Wandering Hamlet is in play.
