Information

This is in my opinion the best version of chalice at the moment. I used this to climb to 65 master and it has an impressive win rate. It dominates aggro by producing blockers that often gain you life and value. Chalice allows you to fight the control decks by making every creature a potent threat. The midrange match-up is also solid since you have various poisonous creatures and harsh rules to punish greedy play. We are playing a more sleek variant of this deck that includes some more sweepers and a few extra removal due to the prevalence of aggro at the top level of play. I will now explain the card choices:

Seek Power
-You do not really need many of these since you have fixing in the deck already plus the number of dual lands allows you to be a little greedy
Desert Marshal
-A powerhouse against aggro and midrange allowing you to thwart threats while doing what chalice is best at, creating a board stall. You will want to save these against midrange to stop sandstorm titans if you can but against aggro go nuts. If you can get a 1 for 1 trade, DO IT!
Lightning Storm
-Good against aggro but also against aegis. You need a little boost in the early game with this list so these are thrown in to allow you a good way of catching up pre or post harsh rule.
Lightning Strike
-Amazing against Green Red aggro as well as midrange. 4 Is a magic number and it can also break weapons from attacking players for the armory match-up.
Strategize
-One of the best cards in control. It allows you to sift through your deck and play better silver bullet cards (cards that crush some match-ups but are lousy in others.) You can play that one of whatever thats amazing against that one deck because with a card like this you can put it away if you don't end up needing it!
Temple Scribe
-A good value card that trades in aggro, draws cards against control, and can get pumped by chalice. Sign me up! It can be tough getting double white so be cautious with your first few sigils. You want to try to get double white on turn 2, white green on turn 3, then 4 blue by turn 8.
Vanquish
-Good removal can be hard to come by. I would much prefer Annihilate but we cant do that so we will have to settle on the sandstorm titan killer!
Amber Acolyte
-We only want 2 of these guys because they are kinda poor in the aggro match-ups. They are nice value but we are not looking for extra mana too often.
Combrei Healer
-Easily one of the best cards in the deck. This is a huge body that blocks for days as WELL AS GAINING LIFE. Gross value here. It become a 4/7 when you chalice it and it can pump some of your other units out of range of sweepers.
Wisdom of the Elders
-Strong card when you are ahead but poor when falling behind. You only want to see one of these a game usually so I stick to 2. You can move up to 3 if you want to beat control a little more but I wouldn't push it too much.
Archive Curator
-Silence is a growing need at the top tables of eternal. You need to be able to shut down revenge or nonsense strats that involve infinite value void garbage. She is your lady for this. A sizable body with flying is always nice and she becomes a threat with chalice.
Crystalline Chalice
-The namesake of the deck. The cup of wondrous value. With this relic you can change your mini men into buff meatheads who want nothing more than to smash and pillage. Your 1/1 has only drawn you 1 card and gained you one life??? NOT ENOUGH, here take a 3/3 that draws you another card because balance. This card is your win condition. You flood the board and pump your dudes, simple as that... kinda.
Marisen's Disciple
-A breakthrough card in this deck. I cant be the first to think of it but I haven't seen it in any other lists. It gives you a body you can pump with chalice as well as:
-A 1/1 that's good against midrange
-A 2/2 that's good against control
-A 3/3 that's good against aggro
That is insane. You get so much value from this idiot. Not to mention most decks are running single target removal which still leaves his better half lying around. Value and versatility. Feeling this good normally costs way more an hour.
Harsh Rule
-Sweepers are great right now... as long as they don't care about health. Creatures are getting bigger so lightning storm doesn't always cut it but this one does! Just watch out for aegis... :c
Lumen Defender
-Great recovery card that can get pumped with chalice. Lets you stabilize against control and midrange. Sounds like a winner.
West-Wind Herald
-Say what now...? That's right. It was literally built for chalice. It can be pumped by chalice, it has aegis so it is protected, it is a flying idiot. Perfect card. Oh and it lets you channel Tempest's or harsh rule, or spells of your choice? It is pretty busted but it can be tricky to get in with. You need to plan ahead of time with this guy but if you do you can win on the spot with a turn 7 Herald, turn 8 channel their blocker, hit, channel again. GG
Celestial Omen
-This is almost mandatory with the Herald. Being able to grab him or a card you need so you can cast this spell again is phenomenal. This lets you have access to an extra copy of whatever spell or unit you need. It is slow but it is often worth it.
Channel the Tempest
-Your finisher in some games, removal in others. Drawing 3 cards and dealing at least 3 damage is nice. You will be digging for this card in most games but you never want one in your opening hand. Not much that needs to be explained about this one.
Mana:
-Basically just follow the deck on them, the mana is pretty well tuned.

Playing the deck:
Your basic goal is to survive the early game by playing big toughness creatures and gaining life. You want to slam a chalice and start pumping up a few guys, try to pump one guy a turn if possible. Then you create a board stall of your few giant guys and their few medium guys. Hold this stall until you have a bunch of cards in hand and a few harsh rules/channel the tempest's. Then blow up the board and rebuild with your value creatures pumping them with chalice. This will easily overrun most opponents. The difficulty is against tech cards like Azindel's Gift or Disjunction. Try to play around these cards when you can but remember that you have no counter spells and sometimes you just need to put on enough pressure that the opponent doesn't have time for these spells.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to ask :) Thank you very much, this has been Jacob, God Bless :D

No Trail Makers? They seem like they would be perfect for Chalice.

What about Crests and Waystones?
Also, considering that eight Sigils are not really enough to consistently support Seats, wouldn't it be more efficient to switch to a full set of Banners?
Janustradamus Eternal Version: 1.27
I removed Seats in favor of going full Banners and added Elysian Crests as well as some Waystones (3x Cobalt 1x Amber). Sigils remaining are a single Time and two of both Justice and Primal (although I really should fit in a second Time one).
Currently at mid-Diamond 3, I have been climbing steadily after tanking for two weeks at Gold 3.

You don't miss Kothon?
iceoliveira Eternal Version: 1.27
Kothon is a very strong card but he is just out of place in the current meta. He gives you some value on an average body and can be your win condition. The problem is that almost every card is like that, the 4/4 flyer is nice but unnecessary and really slow against aggro. He has a ton of trouble blocking in aggro match-ups because you don't really want to just throw him away, you want to get some value from him but his value takes forever to get. Kothon is a great card but unless the format goes back to control as a big player, I wouldn't bother with him. Thanks for the question :)
