Information

Hey everyone! It’s been a while and I’m back with a new deck! Centered around the new promo site, which I personally like! You have to gain as much life as you can, before slamming down Wyatt’s site and start taking damage.. this site has great tools, and the payoff works quite well.. units get drawn back, and you have a healthy amount of removal to deal with pesky threats on the board.. lifegain to go wide, and removal for the tall guys... I couldn’t figure out a way to fit in a market or the 4-mana Eremot, although if someone can figure that out, I’d love to take a go!... I have played 10 matches, and have lost 3, but this is a pretty new deck and I’m looking to make it great!

Thoughts and comments appreciated!!

UPDATE: Having 80 cards in the deck, made it like a meme… So instead I have normalized it, and it is yielding much better results… Currently I am about 16 wins with six losses.. I will continue to test in casual mode, and then I will bring it over to throne to see it against the meta but so far it is lovely and very fun to gain so much life and play… The site is awesome!!

UPDATE: Testing the deck out with a market option (shoutout to RumblerX).. I think broker is the best merchant seeing as to you do get a playset of whatever card you want.. AND it does go in the top 20, so there’s a high chance of drawing it.. the deck is still yielding positive results and I will continue to monitor its performance. Thoughts and comments always appreciated!

UPDATE: Taking thoughts and comments into consideration, I’ve adjusted the market as well as the mana base to compensate. Will continue to test and play, but the deck is just so fun to run!

Put Eremot, Mindspiter in the market. Really good utility. Also, im playing Jekk, the bounty hunter in the market as well. Icara and Dizos office also great choices. Dizo office gives everything lifesteal which helps the deck a ton. just some more options for you

I thought about Dizo, but then went with timepiece because of the weapons being grabbed from smugglers... and I thought about Eremot and put in Regent’s Tomb.. but Jekk I don’t think was a good fit.. but those are both bombs to consider... hope the deck works for you!

- 4 Harsh Rule +4 Wasteland Broker IMO Also, ripping harsh rule off the top with burning cruelty is VERY inconvenient at times. Your spot removal and life steal should push you through most games. But, if you really wanna keep it just add it to your market.
RennyMoses Eternal Version: 20.07.29
That’s actually not a bad idea... I’ve had a couple games where cruelty actually ripped it off the top.. wasn’t the best hahaha... I’ve been thinking about a market, but I didn’t know what to put in it. I’ll revisit it. Thanks!

Along those lines, I highly doubt that Harsh Rule belongs in a Broker market either. If you are pulling Harsh Rule from the market, you need it NOW, not 4 turns from now. And as mentioned before, ripping it with Burning Cruelty is terrible. I think Display of Ambition is a better choice for the Harsh Rule spot in the market.
RennyMoses Eternal Version: 20.07.29
So how would you deal with large boards?... so far, I’ve been pulling it with enough time to wipe and stabilize.. how would display fare better? An example?
sto650 Edited Eternal Version: 20.07.29
Well, if it's not broken, I guess you don't fix it. Probably it's fine. Alternatively, you could drop the Cremates and put in Malediction to deal with large boards, and then trade out Harsh Rule for Display. The purpose of the Display would be flexibility - single removal, or draw two units from the void. Also, the other three Displays would still be useful, while the other 3 Harsh Rules are extremely unlikely to be much use.

I could see your argument there.. I’ll definitely consider it, and test it in casual.. I really appreciate you taking the time to voice your opinion.. hope you’ve tried and enjoyed the deck. Thanks!

What about adding a couple AP Smuggler? Even a pair would give you some fast speed market access to anything in your market while still working with the lifesteal theme.

To be honest, I tried it in the beginning... and was wishing every time that I drew a different unit... it’s weird, like, the way the deck works, you don’t care really to have an instant reaction... maybe it’s just my play style but I opted to removed the additional merchants I had
