I Like Harpoon as well. I don't have a deck for it in mind yet but one thing I would say is that harpoon having 5+ attack would like quickdraw a lot more than deadly because it already kills most things without deadly. and when it gets double damage it practically kills everything anyway, so I would focus on quickdraw and lifesteal to gain board control and stall the game, then maybe try getting Unblockable to Smorc and finish the game.
One more thing: Harpoon is somewhat of a weak card mostly because it's overcosted. Getting it with dragon forge makes an already overcosted weapon cost even more, putting you very much behing on the board. I think it's better to make a deck that works on its own and use Harpoon as one of your most expensive plays that ends the game. Like play Rakano outlaw and champion of chaos and vara as a tempo/fast midrange deck; then in the late game if you draw harpoon you can sac the outlaw to kill their blockers and push more damage. Harpoon with quickdraw works well if you're the aggressor.
Yeah, it might be a better idea to build it more like a "normal" midrange deck. I built it like a semi-control deck, where everything revolves around drawing the weapon, keep drawing it from the void, and make it huge... That makes the deck very inconsistent I realized... :/ I pulled off some fun combos though. Like having Olly shifted while Vara dies, then using a double damage weapon on him, making a 26 damage weapon with lifesteal, quickdraw, deadly and unblockable :p Very good advice about "deadly", it is often overkill indeed. Cheers for the comment!
