Use
Parul's Choice to fetch
Restrained Action ,
Permafrost , or
Avigraft depending on your situation. There is a lot going on in this deck as far as win cons. Try to maintain your face aegis to make
Bring to Justice valuable.
Avigraft is a must for
Vara, Vengeance-Seeker , as she goes directly against what we are trying to do here, but I have won many games without face aegis. We are not playing any 1-drops for
Restrained Action , but
Embargo Officer is a consideration... however, using her in the past has hurt me by keeping me out of my own market (open to suggestions). Between the heavy amounts of killer, removal, and aegis, this deck is quite a pain for some opponents to stop. The game plan here is to make it into the mid game and grab our big toys from the market. I've been considering playing a 1-of
Scourge of Frosthome in market, but I'm not convinced the deck needs the extra win con. Once you drop a
Restrained Action it's basically game over if they don't remove it.
Vanquisher's Blade is in the market due it being extra removal if needed, but also to prevent void manipulation (Reanimator).
Backlash seems like a possible market option, but not sure what I would replace in the market to make room. Still debating on the market choices. I've spent quite a lot of time putting thought into the deck and would greatly appreciate any feedback from the community as to how to improve it. Thanks for taking the time to check out the list and hope your games are as fun as mine have been! Much love. ~echo
I haven't used the card Restrained Action myself, but I saw an opponent skipping over numbers. It still ticks up. So technically I don't think you have to have a 1-drop. If you're determined to get it though, what about Trickshot Ruffian? The plunder 1-drops would be ok too. Better if you end up actually drawing them.
You mentioned the 5th market spot. I know what you mean. But Harsh Rule and Knife are cards you probably only grab with Rime Conclave Smuggler. So Harsh Rule is fine for that maybe. Same would apply if you threw in a counterspell to grab with the smuggler. Not something you'd Broker.
Thinking about the anti-relic hate. What about transpose? 1-cost instant Aegis. It also takes opponent's aegis. If you wanted to go all in with the idea, you could remove all 4 broker from the deck, then throw 2-3 transpose in. You'd still keep the Rime Smugglers probably. Then market might be something like:
Wasteland Broker
Long Live the Queen/Rejection
Svetya, Lightbringer
Svetya, Merciful Orene
Quicksilver Mirror
I dunno what you'd do with Sediti though. There are lots of great 4 drop Good I cards though. Rain of frogs, Bam, Citywide Ban, Etc.
Also, you'd only be abke to Broker in 1 card that way. So maybe just add a couple Transpose and one 4 cost card? I dunno.
Just an idea. I like the deck even without the changes I suggested. Just something to think about maybe.
I only play on console, so I can't really chat which sux.
Anyway, I was cursed during this month's Expedition grind. Could not get to Platnium for the life of me. I kept getting to the very edge (99 on gold 1) and then lpsing so badly all the way back to the beginning of gold 2. Then again at the edge I finally for Platnium against Echo1 guy. Thoight it was very funny if that was you.
