A brainless and effective deck with a super simple game plan:
1) Stay alive while ramping hard.
2) Tutor out Grodov's Stranger.
3) Play granger then put Predator's Instinct on it.
4) Draw all the cards.

Maindeck Choices
- Worldbearer Behemoth is mostly here to help thin out non-sigil power cards. If you're not a fan you can consider Xumucan, the Surveyor or Sandstorm Titan in its place. Ixtol, Champion of Grodov was also suggested as a budget substitution.
- Talir's Favored are here since you only get 1 mulligan in gauntlet so power screw can still happen even with this many power dorks.
- Xenan Initiation is a fallback option for killer and early board control. It also works wonders with Exalted units after we get Grodov's Burden or some decimated Emblem of Grodov since you can chain the killer effect across multiple units after they die.
- Literally everything else in the maindeck should be pretty self explanatory.

Market Choices
Killer-on-demand if we can't find Predator's Instict.
Swirl the Sands as a flexible response card.
Obelisk to make our fatties even fatter and/or turn our power dorks into legitimate threats.
Burden as a combination of removal and giving more units killer.
Gnash for even more dedicated flyer hate. Those 1/1 killer units he spawns also synergize well with both Obelisk and Burden if you get multiple market pulls in.

Deck went on a 53-1 streak in an earlier version. The AI just can't handle the immense value of the granger package combined with Nahid's Distillation and the usual big time fatties most of the time (Defender Of The Spire highrolling, apparently, being one of the few exceptions).

3) Play granger then put Predator's Instinct on it.

wheres is the granger card? i don't see it in the deck list
BarnacleEd Eternal Version: 20.07.29
Oh, "granger" is short for Grodov's Stranger.

As a fair warning I'm not sure I'd recommend this deck anymore, as the nerfs to Distillation and Stranger really took a bite out of its engine. You could probably use this as a starting point then add in some new cards from the latest set to make it more effective however.
In_disguise Eternal Version: 1.51.3
The only time I'm losing so far is getting all power/killer, while the AI pops out giant flyers suspiciously fast. This has only happened a few games, and usually as punishment for beating it already.

Lovely addition to the collection of grinders I cycle while farming. Thanks!
BarnacleEd Eternal Version: 1.51.3
Glad to hear you enjoy it!

So, have to share. Just got done doing a run and who shows up for the boss? Defender of the Spire. The AI rolled out its typical nonsense, but I was lucky enough to chump block and drop Grodov's Burden which allowed me to do the killer/exalted aggro every one of my creatures trick that allowed me to eliminate the following in one turn: (1) 15/5 ChaCha(bury the past), (2) Champion of cunning 19/5 and 17/5 respectively, 15/6 Timekeeper, 15/6 SST.

I was able to put a xenan initiation on my one Behemoth and that started the kill chain and allowed my Initiates, Merchant and the two Aranha from Gnash to do all the dirty work, as the Absorbing Exalted killer continued to smash the AI's defenders the overwhelm left the AI with 3 health so the big units did mop up duty. And I was down to 6 life, so your creation, once again, pulled a victory out of certain jaws of defeat. Oh was that a satisfying run!

And I dumped the Seals of devotion. They hindered me far more than they helped.
psly4mne Eternal Version: 1.51.3
I'd encourage you to run 1-2 Seal of Devotion. I think with 1 it's literally impossible for the influence to matter, and with 2 it's incredibly unlikely.
Bloodystr1ker Eternal Version: 1.51.3
See, for most people that would be true. But I fully believe Karma takes a special interest in me, by that I mean in any way it can make my life miserable, it will. I had a run of 5 games in a row where what I really needed was one more influence because the damn AI kept killing all of my power units and I was stuck on one Time influence and could not get my Granger out and Talir wasn't popping up so it screwed me each time by dropping the seals on me. The ultimate insult: I see a devotion sitting on top with warp. Cast Nahid's, thanks to my MagStranger I was getting to play it cheap. I warp in the devotion, which gave me the power I needed to cast it and I get - 3 more seals. I needed just one of those to be a time sigil, emblem or amber stone, hell I'd been happy with a temple even, but nope.
Then it seemed every time I needed one more influence I would get a seal. So I removed them entirely because I refuse to give Karma any help in messing with me.

Fucking stupid deck, and I love it. Instant favorite, but needs more memes
Bloodystr1ker Eternal Version: 1.51.2
Yes, the amount of card cycling you can do at times is unreal...I've started saying "Brrrr" when dropping a killer perk on the 2 or 3 Grangers on the board everytime..
BarnacleEd Eternal Version: 1.51.2
Never not more memes!
MrWilly Eternal Version: 1.51.2
BRRRRR
Simkeoda Edited Eternal Version: 1.51.2
Awesome deck! What do you think about adding Mystic Ascendant? Considering that there is a lot of sigils flying due to Granger and Worldbearer it can make the card printer go even more BRRRRR :)
I switched out obelisk for ascendant, so far doing great but didn't have too much time for testing.

P.S. love the image
Bloodystr1ker Eternal Version: 1.51.2
So when you have had the Ascendant in play and get the Granger out, how ridiculously big does it get and I am sure you get flushed full of cards?
BarnacleEd Eternal Version: 1.51.2
Ascendant definitely fits the theme here. I think my issue with it is if you get it out of market after you've cleared all power out of your deck it doesn't help you much (unlike Obelisk) but I definitely agree that if you can find it early it could do a lot of work.

I might try it out myself next run.
Bloodystr1ker Edited Eternal Version: 1.51.2
And I do not care what Direwolf says, the Gauntlet is programmed to Cheat. 99% of the time at the boss stage, right before the 1st set of cards show up I say this, with EVERY deck I use, I will get one power card and nothing below 4 cost and 100% of those times I am correct. Did a run last night. It was the one at the boss where you get to play an extra power card each turn. My 1st draw - Temple Standard, 3 Behemoths, 2 Nahid Distillation, 1 Tocas. I did a redraw and got - 1 Time sigil and two seal of devotions, 1 Mag Stranger, 3 Nahid Distillation. I was dead by turn 4. Because of course the AI was able to drop Mystic Ascendant, and other things, I was already stabbing concede in anger and refused to look at the rest....it happens more than it doesn't happen. The damn AI cheats and this deck is the only one that has allowed me to at least get to the boss almost every run and win more than it loses at the boss. But I swear, the AI is butthurt.
Reyemile Edited Eternal Version: 1.51. 1
Seal of Devotion Feels like an auto-include for any mono-color deck.
BarnacleEd Eternal Version: 1.51. 1
I knew I'd forgotten something obvious. Thanks!
Bloodystr1ker Eternal Version: 1.51. 1
I do love the name of the deck though. Lol!
psly4mne Eternal Version: 1.51. 1
I can't agree with cutting Sandstorm Titan. SST is so good in gauntlet. I'm sure I don't have to tell you why, but endurance, high health, and anti-flying are good in so many matchups.
Bloodystr1ker Eternal Version: 1.51. 1
Agree 100% SST is one of the must have's if you are playing Time in any gauntlet runs. It just shuts down the Gauntlet AI so many times.
BarnacleEd Eternal Version: 1.51. 1
I honestly have to disagree. While good ole Darude is overloaded on useful effects and has a nice statline, I wouldn't necessarily call it "mandatory" by any means; all it did in most of my earlier games was clog up space in my hand and delay the granger wombocombo from executing sooner.

If you do feel like you absolutely must have it, I'd cut the Worldbearer Behemoths since they're just a big body around 80% of the time here honestly.
Bloodystr1ker Edited Eternal Version: 1.51. 1
Ok, just for the heck of it, since I don't have 4 of all the legendary cards, i threw in Ixtol, Champion of Grodov. on the couple of occasions I was able to get Ixtol out early it could get out of control so incredibly fast that I was able to out race the AI using all Justice and when it put a 7/7 Mantle of Justice on a 5/5 Spire Chaplan, thanks to your mix of synergy and then drawing 4 killer spells in a row. It was glorious. I chumped the Chaplan until I had my Ixtol at 20/20, which was just enough to take it down since it had built up to 18/18.
BarnacleEd Eternal Version: 1.51. 1
Oh man I didn't think about silly Ixtol could be here once this deck hits critical power mass. Seems like a decent budget replacement and I'll add it as a sideboard option. Thanks for the suggestion!
Bloodystr1ker Eternal Version: 1.51. 1
The Behemoth though can be so much fun with killer, especially if you make it a stranger. The way you crafted this I have won many gauntlet rounds drawing killer with my Behemoth pumped up by random stranger perks and its overwhelm smashing through and murdering the AI. This is probably the most satisfying Gauntlet deck I've ever played with. This thing can pull victory right out of the jaws of defeat so well I never panic even if my life total gets to low single digits.
