TheL0rd0fSpace Eternal Version: 1.49.3
Have you considered Soulfire Drake?

It gets hit by the combo, and when it dies, it makes *every* unit in your deck hittable. Not that you should be playing with units that can't get hit, but still.
MaxGen Edited Eternal Version: 1.49.3
Even if you pull the combo off, you have a ~10:60 chance to draw a creature.
This deck is not good (as of now).
BillCosbatron Eternal Version: 1.49.3
yep, it's more of a theory craft tbh. that's why I put 'a whole lot of luck + more luck'.
sto650 Eternal Version: 1.49.3
I don't think it's possible to make a coherent, competitive deck with both rod and discard. For rod to work, it needs like 28-32 units with the proper keyword. You're nowhere near that, and you can't be, with all the discard that's also needed.
OneAntic Eternal Version: 1.49.3
There's a neat package of primal flying units that have draw/discard attached to them. Using those instead of the current spell-based discard package helps with the density of flying units for rod.
TheL0rd0fSpace Eternal Version: 1.49.3
True, but is it worth it to get free small units?

Like, the real payoffs here are Kaleb, Icaria, etc etc.

Sure, getting a Lightning Sprite for free is better than a whiff, but it doesn't seem like a big enough of a difference. At least to me.

You may also want to run Second Sight to help put big units on top instead of in your discards before the big turn.
