Information

Trying to work on this FTS Control list. It was off to a good start and then the meta changed. This is the current iteration. Constructive criticism welcome. Trying to make it better. Thanks in advance. Update: testing out In Cold Blood for ladder. There are no shortage of targets.

Aphelion Eternal Version: 1.27
This list looks sweet. I have been playing JonahVeil's list to some success. Would love to see this archetype grow. Shatterglass Mage seems likea good addition. The only card I am lukewarm on is Family Charter. How has it been for you?
ZimAshe Eternal Version: 1.27
It’s been ok. The problem with this archetype is there is no real card advantage. Thought charter could help to smooth out early card draw and refill that hand late game. Problem is more often then not you’re left with the decision of popping charter or holding up removal. Initially the deck had HotV, and Kiln Titan in it. Which were both very sweet. HotV brought the fire requirements up from just a splash and Kiln Titans ability is not a “may” ability. Found that out the hard way when he forced me to cast an Annihilate on the only legal target on board, him.
Aphelion Eternal Version: 1.27
Wow,that is good to know. Kiln is probably more at home in a Praxis shell for that reason. Give the list I linked a try. It does a lot of the things your list does, and while heavy on Crest's, they help smooth out the draw a ton. Can be REALLY slow vs go wide aggro, but feels pretty solid against most other things. I think the most optimal version lies somewhere between these lists. Part of me feels like you could go the Dark Return route for the late game, instead of drawing cards, so your threats are more durable. I plan on trying this out when I have some time. Maiden has been great combating all of the Reanimator that is floating around, and can help stave off the aggro assault long enough to pull ahead, or at least stabilize.

Thanks. Would love to hear some more of your input.
