I've been doing alright with this at around rank 50-100 masters. It's basically a tricky midrange deck, you play value units and contest the board until you get Nostrix + Porter or the Deputies from Marley. Then you start contesting the board really fast and really hard with too many cheap giant units. Usually this leads to a win, but sometimes you get into a stall, which is what Crystallize is for.

You can also hit any of the other units with Nostrix if needed, they're all pretty good with the buff. Don't be too greedy with it, a lot of the time you can just win by hitting something you have another copy of in hand, a Press-Gang when you have another one coming with Revenge, or even just a Shelterwing with a popped Aegis. You do really want to hit Porter because it's such a bad draw unbuffed, but between the Merchants and Dark Return it's pretty easy to use the ability multiple times. I've found it's more important to play Nostrix ASAP than to wait for Porters.

The Dark Returns can let you reuse Nostrix, Aegis, generate more Porters, and give you another trade for the market. They're very good. You can also use them to get another copy of something in hand before you Nostrix it. I think 4 would be too many but I'd never go below 3.

The Porters are a bad draw but between Strategize and the Merchant having the extra card can still be useful. Swapping or Strategizing both halfs of Porter is basically card advantage, and a lot of the time you won't need them to win. But it is usually the best Nostrix target and a lot of the wins come from Nostrix + Porter.

Overall this is the best version of the Nostrix/Porter deck I've tried. I'd say that's because it doesn't need to get the combo to win, and all of the combo pieces are good(ish) without the combo. It's a deck that wins through card advantage by playing a lot of 1-for-1 removal plus units that are hard to trade evenly for, and the combo just feeds into that.

Rindra's Choice seems like a it'd be nice addition to the removal suite, but I really don't know what to cut for it. Same thing with Dusk Raider, it'd be pretty nutty with most of the deck but it's not usually going to be get traded 1-for-1, so it doesn't really fit. But if you think you can fit them in, I think they'd be pretty good.
