The deck started out with the Spymaster+Herald+bad news combo but when testing I realized that the control part of the deck was just better than the combo part, and that Herald + Scouting Party was usually good enough to win the game anyway. So I leaned into the control part of the deck and it has been playing out nicely for me.

Devastating Setback are bring tested out right now but I think work out really nicely against some aggro decks and is much more flexible than lightning storm.
