Had a bad time when I ran the deck against Gauntlet a second time. Remade it into a more
Poacher's Menagerie-centric deck. Hopefully this gets better result.
Lots of board sweep in the form of
Nothing Remains and
Harsh Rule, we also have
Equalize and
Pristine Light for emergencies.
Same as before, hunker down, stall the game with
Vara, Vengeance-Seeker,
Stonepowder Alchemist,
Wasteland Broker, and
Manacles then wait for
Poacher's Menagerie to turn the tide.
Stonepowder Alchemist breaks face aegis and relic weapons.
Petra, Auric Launderer is over all a better inscribe than
Fear. Can be played earlier, recycles spells, and has revenge.
The Speaking Circle is mostly there for fun. If it goes off, protects your units from
Harsh Rule and
Nothing Remains.
Fearless Crescendo can remove enemy unit's aegis and allows us to store a card in-hand for
Wasteland Broker to multiply.
Market choice mostly covers our weaknesses.
Monarch Cloak for unit/relic silence.
Pristine Light and
Equalize as hail Marys.
Manacles ties down threats while
Auren Condemnation gives pseudo life. All in all good targets for
Wasteland Broker
Close out the game before summoning a 12 cost unit through
Poacher's Menagerie, because there's a big chance it summons
Spirit of Resistance. Only the generic tokens have the same cost as it.
i tried this deck and it was very fun, i like it.
Thanks for sharing
Why did you choose Fear for market? i mean there are better options for that slot. Vara limitless, 5-cost makto, Dizzo's office are some of them.
also you can cut lost scroll. because of powerbase you don't get influence screwed, also you don't need to ramp...you can use cull the dark or something else for that spot
you made a lot of changes, so i need to test this. why did you pick speaking circle? i like this site but it's not too much random for gauntlet? how did work you? did you try gates of hope of regent's tomb in main?
