Greetings,
Here's a deck I put together to test out the new site
Amaran Bazaar. I really like this particular archetype of allowing otherwise toothless units to become massive threats. And, they're all cheap power wise. The deck is very straightforward. All of the big body units act as defense until you get the Bazaar or
Broti, Bastion's Hope in play. It's no big deal if you lose units, because most at interchangeable and not critical. They just need a big body to be useful. Still, let me highlight some things to note:
- There are a ton of minotaurs that could have fit in this deck. Units like
Campus Security,
Scornful Elite, and
Auric Sentry didn't make the cut but could easily have been included. In fact, my initial idea was to toss together a minotaur deck and run support like
Hammer of Unity and
Mask Maker, but doing so would have excluded some cards I really wanted in this deck, like
Campfire Watchman and
Storm Mirage.
The new site might not be super awesome, but it does allow for some fun big body strategies, and I think there are a variety of ways one can take this type of build.
- I had a hard time picking the support spells. Cards that I cut that could easily be put back in include
Accelerated Impact and
Realize Your Potential. I cut them because I think the deck runs fine without them. Realize Your Potential could be useful for the Aegis, but there aren't any units in the deck I see as mandatory, aside from Broti.
- I've tried this with and without
Yisha, the Equalizer and it's probably better with her. Without her, you just don't have a way to attack consistently without the site and Broti.
Market:
My typical toolbox when I use Time (at least the first 3 cards....I tend to vary the 4th and 5th slot).
Infinite Hourglass for stun
Privilege of Nobility for hunt and discard
Sandstorm Scarf for fliers
Mandatory Retirement for emergency spot removal. This card could be swapped out for something else.
Trials and Tribulations for tokens/weenies, with the added benefit of buffing your big, beautiful, bodacious, bazaar booties.
If anyone finds a way to improve this decklist, drop me a message. I've mostly tested it in Gauntlet, but it's fun in casual PVP too. That's what I mostly play; gauntlet and fun casual PVP.
Enjoy!
