Just finished my best gauntlet deck and thought I would share. Won gauntlet this season twice in a row after final edits on the final ranking. (edit the new changes have made it more difficult)
very simple idea to dominate the game every step of the way covering early aggro, flying and late game bombs. Lots of draw card to achieve consistency and power, decent amount of lifesteal to buy time and prevent losing to damage,
ghostblade outcast- early game 1 drop that triggers weapon draw combos with oni quartermaster and adds lifesteal early or late game.
rakano artisan- buff weapons and helps defend against early aggro
brightmace paladin- triggers lifesteal with creation project or weapons
chizue, silver hilt- adds weapon and extra card draw plus overwelm helpful on arcanum or big units buffed with weapons. can also give brightmace lifesteal.
arcanums true heart- Main win condition. Give it endurance, lifesteal, overwhelm, and flying to dominate. very few decks have an answer to him in gauntlet. the computer often sacrifices units to try and kill it(unsuccessfully). it has to be silenced early or -/- early to remove it.
Ijin mithril dynamo- bit expensive but is useful to create units on board when outnumbered or to give throwaway blocks and he can trigger draws. Win condition if unchecked.
Inferno Phoenix- just a great flyer and can swing to end or give massive lifesteal.
Riva, crimson blur- helps generate power for weapon draws and is great with creation, also helps with removal and of course flying control.
Elder's Feather- one drop gives flying triggers draw card gives brightmace lifesteal.
infinite hourglass- combos great with arcanum true heart and ijin to allow blocks and attacks. I split it up with Exodus to get the extra inscribe.
Ornamental Daggers- doubles up with echo and 2/2 with artisan. No brainer.
Shiftstone sniper- couldnt manage to cut completely good to draw 2 with one weapon or in a pinch without oni quartermaster just to get a draw card into power or whatever.
mystical shackles- just added because deck was lacking good removal.
the creation project- best card right now buffs brightmace, riva, adds draw card.
disjunction- i chose this because instead of cheaper attachment removal it can be used to return a creation project, infinite hourglass or any weapons attached to a downed unit (especially a stacked ghostblade).
ijins choice- broke up disjunction for power and option variation, either destroy attachment or create nice weapon for trigger.
touch of purity- adds double lifesteal without wasting a card in deck for a particular unit and can be cast on weapons.
display of passion- mostly used for double weapon draw using katana but also sometimes useful for either other purpose.
exodus- endurance for arcanum, riva, ijin, and lifestealers.
for power i used what i had im fairly sure there are better powers out there. however i will say that having the wisp from amber coin has been very useful for chump blocking.
Any suggestions?! Let me know, somewhat new to the game but played Magic the gathering for a fair few years.
