FTP Sling (Rank 1)

Another pushed overpowered garbage card from DWD, same as every new set in the last year+. Lots of other cool new cards like Markos, but no one can use him because this deck kills him in one effect. The entire ladder is playing it, which is disapponting, the originality in the already tiny Eternal playerbase is just dead at this point. There isn't a counter deck to this besides getting lucky with a fast mono fire or skycraggro start. A legit counter deck can't even kill the relic consistently because they have 4 copies and there are Negate effects in some builds and fast face aegis in all builds, can't transform the relic, Turn to Seed can't hit units, so you have to individually have a kill spell for every single unit, mass removal doesn't work they will just keep one unit out drawing a million cards every turn. Can't dare play even one unit because you'll get hit with ridiculous overwhelm face damage. There's not a single weakness or downside, it's worse than Endra decks were, great game design from DWD as usual lately. It beats other aggro midrange decks, it beats all control decks because it outdraws your control deck just doing nothing. I tried a list and it was nothing but unsuspenseful coinflip mirror matches. Definitely think it's time to quit this game.
