I posted a decklist for the poorly named Exodia Control deck a few days ago. And as the deck has moved beyond it's ultra-slow combo roots, the name is both confusing and not even slightly fitting.
The gameplan is as follows: Use
Hailstorm and spot removal until you have enough influence for
Celestial Omen, here you will find yourself often searching for more removal, but this is okay. Once you have completely stabilized, win with a combination of
Aid of the Hooru and
Channel the Tempest. As an alternate wincon for control matchups, there is also the very effective combo of
The Last Word and a
Cobalt Waystone. If the game goes especially long and if you never seem to stabilize, there is also one
Touch of the Umbren for effective lifegain/removal/wincon.
Excavate and
Disjunction help retain consistency,
Disjunction is also effective relic hate alongside
Banish, which can cripple the tokens matchup. The deck only runs three of
Hailstorm because it plays green and can also run
Harsh Rule, which tends to be better against all non-aggro decks.
Moondial provides a mana sink if you already have
Temporal Distortion in play for your own turn and can otherwise dig for cards.
Staff of Stories can be used both as really bad lifegain and decent card advantage, depending on the context. It still might be correct to cut black, but
The Last Word and the better spot removal in black are both worth the extra influence requirements. One alteration that cannot be made, however, is reducing the number of
Channel the Tempest, this leads to a really painful lategame.
