This game makes it hard to build super cheesy decks, but here we are once again.
Paying for card plays is obviously very plebian and demonstrate poor judgment. Playing for free is where the cool kids are these days.
The general idea is to play a bunch of cheap relics, sacrifice them with
Governor Sahin and work your way into the high roller club. "Wow, this guy doesn't pay for stuff, we must become his friend!". So eventually the whole club is filled with Sahins, a few reanimators and old weirdos from the shifting era. Searching for new friends, Sahin met
Embargo Runner (probably not his real name) (also not a hero, a bit lame).
The extra twist is now that we can recycle the relics that went to the void. We also get extra value from anything that sacrifices after an effect. The
Waystone Gate is a fantastic example. Since we do not pay for cards, it's important to get a
Sacred Tableau and play for free. A
Worldpyre could have worked, but you're mostly having a discount. The cool kids just see that as adorable.
So there's some core cards:
Governor Sahin
Embargo Runner
Scared Beetender
Supply Cache
Lost Traveler
Saloon Massacre
Since the rest are mostly one of, there's probably a ton of other cards that can be swapped.
The nice combos are when you have a Sahin, a Runner and a
Well-Traveled Waystone. The runner can attack multiple times and get other relics back online to sac with Sahin. The
Supply Cache also works really well with the Runner, you get a choice of 8 cards instead of 5 and just draw instead of swapping with the market.
Finally,
Tools of Oppression is pretty decent at stalling huge enemies for a few turns.
I tried to get a sacrifice / reanimation thing working as well, but it's not really working yet.
Induce Madness is a fun card.
Credits where they're due: I've been strongly inspired by this deck
