it works as a seek power in the early game. The deck can ramp to 10-12 power somewhat reliable, then it is great to draw 7, bc you can still play a wrath etc after the draw.

yes, when you are at 7 mana you want to draw 7 cards and before turn 7 it helps you to find more mana sources. :)
