The Governor's Pit

Information

The deck is designed to try and control the board and cheat your pit into play early, hopefully then running away from the game. The combo is to use your Governor to sacrifice a relic, and since the pit is your only relic in the deck, it will always find that. To do that you need relics from other sources, and this deck has 13 options. Two new cards from homecoming, call for aid and severin the mad, and then you have mesmerized moth and a rat cage in your market as a cheap search target. There are plenty of flex slots available as this is my first draft, but results have been good so far.

Edit 2: Vargo is everywhere, needed an answer hence equivocate. Strategize helps put the pit back in your deck if you draw it, and setback helps slow down aggressive decks while not being dead against control.

Call for Aid is one of the most underrated cards in this set. Its pretty amazing

7-3 first go with it, added wasp as another early play and a way to try and exhaust opponents removal. Against a control deck its safer to play the governor when you have 7 power so you get your activation.
